EXHIBITION "SERIES, RHYTHM, REPETITION" BY BRITTA ERISKAT
Open studio, November 2024 Presentation of paper and clay works that were created in Hamburg in August 2024. For these works, the medium of acrylic was used again after a long time and colors were mixed with enthusiasm in large cups. The motifs reflect themes such as rhythm, sequence and repetition - but not in the classic sense of an ornament, but rather inspired by liveliness, e.g. the dynamic movement of rising bubbles in a pot of boiling water.
EXHIBITION "PAPER WORKS" WITH ANNA FRYDMAN AND BRITTA ERISKAT
June 2024 as part of the Laim District Week The studio community of Britta Eriskat and Anna Frydman, which has existed since summer 2023, opened the space to interested parties as part of the Laim District Week and showed paper works that had been created over the last six months. For the graphic designer and the artist, in addition to the joy of spending time together creatively, it was also an experiment to use and play in the small space together. A special symbol for the community was the round window, which appears again and again in the works but is used very differently.

EXHIBITION " CHECK YOUR LETTERBOX - AN EXPERIMENT WITH DISTANCE " WITH 10 ARTISTS OF THE LETTERBOX PROJECT
July 2022 Participating artists: Johanna Berüter, Britta Eriskat, Anna Frydman, Sylvia Hofmann, Andreas Holzknecht, Yuliia Koval, Margret Lochner, Esther Rutenfranz, Eva Schnitzer, Claudia Stranghöner Johanna Berüter and Anna Frydman developed the idea for this project at the beginning of 2021 during the second Corona lockdown: an experiment with the aim of doing something together with others, despite the special circumstances. Ten artists were involved. Each received a white A5 or A4 drawing board by post and worked on it. The material and technique were freely selectable. The processed board was then sent on to all the other artists in turn. The experiment was over when all the boards had been worked on by all participants. The exhibition showed the collaborative works from Letterbox rounds #1 and #2 as well as one exhibit from each of the participating artists.
